As a landscape and nature photographer, I am always inspired by the beauties of nature. Whether it is an expansive landscape or a minute detail, I try to make images that help viewers share my experiences. With photography, sometimes a full view of the scene is needed. Other times, there is so much detail that only by zeroing in on the small pieces can there be a feeling for what the subject is really like. My images consist of both. A photographer's greatest challenge is to convey to his viewers a sense of what was experienced at the moment the image was made. I hope that when you look at my images, you will appreciate a bit of what I saw, and experience some of the joy I had in making them.
